Kajal Agarwal Rejects Shahid!

Kajal Agarwal definitely is stealing the show down south and in Bollywood. The seductress is quite in demand despite facing tough competition from the likes of Samantha, Tamannah and Ileana. However, she is learnt to have turned down an offer to get casted against lover boy Shahid Kapoor.

The project is handled by Yash Raj Films, a production house that even Shah Rukh Khan would never say no. Kajal grabbed eyeballs in the north, too, post her Hindi debutSingham opposite Ajay Devgn. She was offered many roles later but she kept herself busy in Telugu and Tamil movies; one from Yash Raj banner is the latest. It is believed that she took the move only because the girl-next-door has prior commitments – a VV Vinayak film with Ram Charan Tej and a Tamil flick with Vijay. Kajal romanced Charan in Magadheera, which saw her become an A-lister in the Telgu cinema. Sources say the ravishing beauty is pretty keen to rule the roost in the south and hence is not taking up any in Hindi. Well, she certainly would have thought twice before saying no to Shahid and Yash Raj Films.

Kajal's Bag Biggies

After a brief dull phase last year, offers are raining on Kajal Agarwal again. She's the second busiest heroine in South India after Samantha. While Samantha is also paired up with upcoming young heroes, Kajal Agarwal is bagging only big movies and big heroes. 

In Telugu, she is currently doing Ram Charan - V V Vinayak’s film that has begun it regular shoot on Feb 6th in Hyderabad.

Next she will be seen opposite NTR in a new film to be directed by Srinu Vaitla. From June, she will be romancing with Pawan Kalyan in the direction of Puri Jagannadh who just gave her a hit withBusinessman . So, this year, she has only big movies in Tollywood. 

In Tamil film industry too, she has paired up with the biggest stars only. She is currently doing Suriya'sMaatran , being directed by K V Anand and Tupaki with Vijay in the direction of A.R.Murugadoss.

Kajal Aggarwal jumps onto CCL Bandwagon

Kajal Aggarwal has been chosen as one of the brand ambassadors of CCL-II. She was nowhere in the picture for the first season of Celebrity Cricket League; however, with two more teams from Kerala and West Bengal joining the fray, 

The organizers seem to have decided to add lot more glamour and star power to the series. Kajal Aggarwal will now join other stars like Shriya Saran, Priyamani, Deeksha Seth, Madhuri Bhattacharya and Payal Sarkar who are the official brand ambassadors of CCL. Other stars like Richa, Genelia, Charmi, Kangana, Sonakshi Sinha, Amala Paul, Sameera Reddy, Lakshmi Rai, Bhavana and Nidhi Subbaiah are brand ambassadors of separate teams. 

The inaugural match is going to take place in Sharjah between Telugu Warriors and Mumbai Heroes on January 13. Several leading stars and members of Telugu Warriors, Mumbai Heroes and Chennai Rhinos will be flying to Sharjah via Dubai in couple of days.

Kajal denies rumours

Actress Kajal Aggarwal has denied speculations in a certain section of the media that she and Telugu actor Prabhas were seeing each other. Also, there were rumours that the two of them spent New Year's eve together in Bangkok.

'That's absolutely rubbish! I spent New Year eve with my family,' Kajal was reported as saying, 'Sorry to disappoint all those who think I'm dating someone, but I’m still single.'

The 'Naan Mahaan Alla' girl is glad that 2012 has began on a great note. 'I'm happy that my Telugu film Businessman is a superhit and has won me rave reviews. I hope the rest of the year turns out good too,' says Kajal, who has 'Thuppaki' opposite Vijay and 'Maatraan' opposite Suriya on her hands.

Pawan Kalyan – Kajal in Puri’s direction?

A most interesting combination is currently materializing in the Telugu Film Industry. Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Puri Jagan have already decided to make a film and the latest buzz in Filmnagar circles is that Kajal Aggarwal will be the heroine in this project. Shooting of the movie will begin from the second half of May.

Pawan Kalyan will complete his current commitments by that time. Puri Jagan will also be wrapping up his movie with Ravi Teja by the first week of May and Pawan’s project will begin instantly. 

The movie is going to be a powerful action entertainer, as per sources familiar with the project. D.V.V. Danayya will be the producer and the movie will be readied for a Dussehra release.
