Kajal Agarwal has been signed in for the Hindi remake of ‘Singam’ in which she will play the romantic lead opposite Ajay Devgan. Tamil superstar Suriya had played the lead in its Tamil version. It was said that Anushka Shetty who did the Tamil version, was being considered for the role. However, Kajal has now signed the film. This movie was dubbed and released in Telugu too as 'Yamudu'.

Kajal has been waiting for a good offer to enter Bollywood for quite sometime. Earlier there was news of her entering Bollywood with the Hindi remake of her Telugu blockbuster ‘Magadheera ‘. Incidentally Kajal began here career in a small role in Hindi film where she played the friend of Aishwarya Rai.

‘Singam’ is being remade in Hindi by Reliance Big Pictures in which Ajay Devgan plays a tough cop. Prakash Raj will essay the same role he did in Tamil. It will be directed by Rohit Shetty of Golmal series fame. The project will start shooting this month and release in July.

Looks like Kajal Agarwal, who is already a popular face in Tamil and Telugu, is going to be the next top heroine to shake South Indian film industry.

Sources says that she has got an offer from Kannada film industry. Ace director Raghu Hassan, who is currently working on his film ‘Thathasthu’ starring Chiraag in the lead role, has approached Kajal to play the heroine. Well official announcement is yet to be made by him.

Director says that they primarily approached both Kajal Agarwal and Sonam Kapoor for this role. However, finally Kajal Agarwal bagged the offer and also done with the discussions. Well Chiraag also gave a hint that Kajal is going to play his lady love in the movie.

‘Thathasthu’ was launched on July 9 which is produced by Anaji Nagaraj. Well in the meantime, Pretty chulbuli Kajal is busy with her other three Telugu ventures and two Tamil films.
So let's wait for tomorrow and see how Kajal’s future is going to take a turn.

Kajal joins hands with Gopichand for 'Mogudu'

It is well aware that aggressive star Gopichand has teamed up with directorKrishnavamsi for his next flick
, tentatively titled as Mogudu. The latest news is pretty actress Kajal Agarwal has been roped in for the female lead role in the film. This is the second film for Kajal under the direction of Krishnavamsi, first being Chandamamawith which she received a much needed break.Initially Richa Gangopadhyay was approached for the role. However, Kajal Agarwal is said to be finalized as Richa could not allocate her dates. Nallamalupu Bujji will produce the movie and Kalyani Malik will score the music. Mogudu is touted as a romantic action entertainer.
